Description

NETHUR invites you to the NETHUR Community Building Event. This event is not a formal NETHUR course, but an informal afternoon aimed at bringing people together. Whether you are already part of NETHUR or simply interested in what we do, you are very welcome to join. The event offers an opportunity to connect with colleagues and others interested in NETHUR, and to engage in discussion on current spatial challenges.

The programme includes a lecture by Professor Peter Pelzer (Professor of Spatial Planning and Strategy, Department of Urbanism), titled Planning for the long-term in the Netherlands: Reviving a tradition while inventing something new. In his lecture, Professor Pelzer reflects on the growing struggle for space in the Netherlands and argues for rethinking spatial planning as a way to take moral responsibility for future generations, with a focus on intergenerational justice.

The afternoon will conclude with drinks and networking.

Please note: this event uses a different registration link than the regular NETHUR courses.
