Associate PhD Member

These include all other types of PhD candidates. They are employed by one of the participating institutes with a job description that is different from a regular PhD candidate or are employed elsewhere and preparing a dissertation under the supervision of a Professor working at one of the participating institutes.

They are entitled to participate in NETHUR education. However, full PhD members receive priority in case a (compulsory) course has reached the maximum number of participants. In such cases, associated PhD candidates will be put on a waiting list.

Admission

PhD candidates working for one of the participating institutes can become a member of NETHUR. To apply for membership, they have to register for an account.

The PhD candidate will then be registered as a provisional member and be able to participate in the education programme.

Within three months after receiving provisional membership status, the following documents have to be submitted:

  • Research proposal
  • Education and supervision plan
  • Curriculum vitae

Based on these documents the NETHUR Director makes the final decision on admission.
