Registration and Costs

To register for a Course, School or other NETHUR activity, please browse through the calendar of events and select one or more for registration. You need to create an account to be able to register for a course, school or other NETHUR activity. You will also receive a conformation of your registration.

If the number of registrations exceeds the maximum number of participants, your name will be put on a waiting list. You will then be informed when a next edition of a NETHUR course is planned and have priority over others if you want to participate in this next edition.

Members will receive priority over others when the number of registrations exceeds the maximum number of participants. PhD candidates interested in becoming a member please check Join NETHUR.

NETHUR education is developed for NETHUR PhD members and therefore free of charge for this group. PhD candidates from other graduate schools or others interested in NETHUR courses, schools, et cetera, can apply for participation and have to pay a fee.

After PhD members are registered for a course, they are obliged to attend the course. If a PhD member is unable to attend a course registered for, the Director of Education has to be informed through the NETHUR Office before a date set per course (in general 2 weeks before the start of the course), stating the reason of cancellation. If the Director of Education finds that the reason for cancellation is not valid, the cancellation took place after the set date, or no cancellation notice was received, the expenses made by NETHUR will be charged to the local institute.

NETHUR education takes place at various locations, although activities are held mostly in the centrally located city of Utrecht. Arrangements for travel cost reimbursement have to be made with the local institutes.
